Prue
gets déjà vu when she hears an ice cream truck playing
an eerily familiar tune. She watches as a little girl is
drawn toward the sound. Prue drags Phoebe toward the

arrive just in time to see her pulled in to the
mysterious ice cream truck by an otherworldly force.
Prue and Phoebe follow the truck and find themselves in
a whitewashed world of snow, playground and forest, and
they soon discover that the real evil is "the
nothing" which snatches people up and wipes our
their existence. Why was the song familiar to Prue?
Phoebe gets a flash and sees a young Prue being saved
from the whitewashed place by their estranged dad. Being
good witches, they help rescue three kids trapped in the
ice cream truck world… only to discover they've helped
to free mini-demons and endangered the innocent ice
cream truck man. The only one that can help them
understand what's going on is their dad. Phoebe reveals
that she's kept in touch with him and he's in San
Francisco. Prue is dead-set against asking his help, but
dad does reveal that the truck's melody is used to lure
young demons to capture. As a young girl, Prue heard the
song and was drawn in but her dad saved her. It was also
the reason their grandmother made him leave. The

Original
Airdate: 3/22/01
Newlyweds
Piper and Leo are ready to move out of the Manor, but it could
have a big effect not only on the Halliwell sisters relationship
but on their supernatural jobs as well. If the power of three is
necessary for fighting all the evil that has a nasty way of
finding them, what happens when one sister is across town in her
newlywed nest? When Piper makes the announcement
"by-the-way style, the decision reminds them all of what
life was like before they knew of their powers. In a series of
flashbacks, the girls remember back to when Grams was alive —
the only thing keeping them together was their stubborn
grandmother . Prue was getting married, Piper was facing a bank
job she didn't like and a life taking care of Grams, and Phoebe
was out of control -- shoplifting and fighting with her sisters.
Secretly, Grams was poised to prevent the squabbling girls from
getting their powers. As she's about to perform the spell, she
dies. Six months later the Halliwells get the power of three. As
the Charmed Ones are heading down memory lane, they discover a
new demon loose in town. He was a witch's "familiar"
(her black cat actually) and when he assumed human form and
killed her, he became a warlock. Each sister kills him in
separate incidents, and they return home to find him at their
doorstep. After killing him again, they turn to the Book of
Shadows for answers. This leads them to contact the dead witch
for details, and they realize that since he was a cat, he needs
to be killed nine times (the whole nine lives thing) and if he
is, he becomes immortal. Bad idea! While fighting to preserve
their relationship through the impending move, the girls also
figure out a way to finish off the catty warlock — make him
feel the pain of all his nine deaths and he'll really kick off
this time. Piper and Leo are all packed up when Piper discovers
the potion Grams had conjured up to take back their powers. She
realizes that she can't move out and Leo reluctantly agrees.
Prue and Phoebe have a solution of their own — Piper and Leo
take Prue's larger room and Phoebe moves out of their bathroom,

A demon
uses his power, the seven deadly sins, to bring "The
Source" seven innocent souls. Prue and Phoebe stumble upon
the demon's henchman taunting an innocent infected with Greed,
they fight him and in the fight he drops a box filled with white
orbs. The henchman escapes and reports back to the demon, while
the possessed innocent runs out into traffic and is killed. The
girls take the box and look it up in The Book of Shadows. The
Book says the box contains each one of the seven deadly sins and
there is no magical way to overcome the sin once it has infected
someone. All of a sudden the demon appears, grabs the box,
infects everyone with sins and disappears: Phoebe has Lust, Prue
has Pride, Piper has Gluttony and Leo has Sloth. The Charmed
Ones discover another victim, a priest infected with envy,
holding a man hostage at a car dealership. Prue and Phoebe go to
the dealership, while Piper and Leo try to find a cure for their
sins. Prue saves the hostage, is grazed by a bullet and tells
Darryl to hide the priest, while Phoebe tries to seduce an
officer. Prue drags Phoebe away and Darryl suspends the officer.
Back at the Manor, Prue and Phoebe find that Piper has been
shopping like crazy and Leo's been napping in front of the TV.
Leo goes upstairs to take another nap and the girls go to the
attic to try to figure out what to do. The officer, infected
with Anger, comes to the Manor and fights with Phoebe and Piper.
Phoebe and Piper are knocked unconscious and Prue knocks out the
officer, but before Prue can help her sisters, the demon appears
and takes her away. Piper regains consciousness and begs Leo to
help; Leo overcomes his sin and helps both girls. They discover
that magic can't undo the sin, but an act of pure unselfishness
can. Piper, Leo and Phoebe go to the demon lair to save Prue.
They discover the box with the orbs, freeze the demon, vanquish
him by infecting him with the remaining sins and save Prue.

is on a killing rampage. So Phoebe performs a spell to conjure
up Belthazar, in order to vanquish him, but the spell doesn't
work. Meanwhile Piper is struggling to handle her new power.
Prue discovers that the murderer is really a Banshee demon who
seeks out people whose souls are in pain and kills them with her
screams. They find a tracking spell, but it has to be performed
on one of the Charmed Ones in order to find the demon. Prue
volunteers and is transformed into a dog, "Prujo."
Prujo begins to pick up the trail of the Banshee, while Piper
and Phoebe are in pursuit. They find the Banshee and fight her,
but the demon runs away. Prujo runs after her, but is hit by a
car and taken to the vet by the driver. Since they've lost Prujo,
Piper and Phoebe head back to the manor. At the Manor, Phoebe
goes to the attic and begins to cry, because she's still in love
with Cole, but can't forgive him for killing a witch. Leo tells
Piper that the Banshee demon is a witch consumed by pain until
she becomes evil and she can turn other witches in to Banshees.
At that moment, the Banshee demon crashes through the attic
window and attacks Phoebe, Piper destroys the Banshee, but
Phoebe becomes a Banshee and runs away. Leo says that they have
to stop her before she kills or she'll be a Banshee forever.
Piper figures out that the only way to save Phoebe is to summon
Cole/Belthazar and have him confess that he still loves Phoebe
thus ending her pain. Cole confronts Phoebe and a huge battle
ensues. When Cole tells her that he can't kill her and that he
still loves her, Phoebe returns to normal. While Cole explains
how he was forced to kill the witch, Prujo escapes from her
captor and she turns back into Prue. Later at P3 Phoebe tells

The girls save Dr.
Griffis, from a demon named Shax. Phoebe goes to the attic for
a vanquishing spell, Shafts bursts through the door and blasts
Piper and Prue through a wall. He tries to kill Dr. Griffis but
Phoebe chants her spell making Shax disappear, she then
summons Leo to heal Prue and Piper. Prue feels that Shax is
still alive, so she and Piper search for him. He attacks and
Piper uses her power to blow him up, unbeknownst to them, the
scene is caught on tape by a news reporter. The girls tell
Phoebe what happened and convince Griffis to keep their secret.
Phoebe wants to use a potion on Cole to destroy his evil side
and asks her sisters to send her to Cole. She's face to face
with Cole and he grabs her by the throat, she smashes the potion
on his back and he kisses her. At a television station, the
reporter and her boss decide to air the tape again and get an
exclusive interview. At the police station Darryl is accosted by
his boss and sees the broadcast about the Halliwells, he calls
the girls and tells them that their secret is out. The girls are
still not sure they defeated Shax and go to the hospital to
save Griffis. As they take him to safety, Shax attacks and
they finally vanquish him, but the whole thing is caught on the
news again. A mob surrounds the manor and the girls find out
that Griffis is giving a TV interview. Leo tells them the only
way to fix this is to contact the Demon Tempus and have him
turn back time. At that moment a crazy person, Alice Hicks,
barges into the house and says she wants to join their coven.
Prue uses her power and throws her out. The girls tell Leo to
find Phoebe and ask Cole to find Tempest. Leo doesn't want to go
down below, because he won't be able to hear them if they need
help. Cole tells Phoebe, The Source has arrived and she has to
leave. Leo orbs in and tells them they've been exposed and they
need Tempest's help. Cole says he doesn't have the power to
summon Tempest, but The Source does. Leo suggests they ask The
Source for help since the demon world has also been exposed.
Cole visits The Source and The Source gives Cole a deal. He'll
order Tempest to turn back time, if Phoebe stays below and
crosses to the dark side. Cole argues that she'll never do it,
The Source counters, "Even to save the life of her
sister." Cole tells Leo and Phoebe the news and Phoebe
tells Leo to check on her sisters. Prue and Piper are
barricading the house, when Alice Hicks shoots Piper. Piper is
injured and Prue calls Leo, but he can't hear her, so Prue takes
Piper to the hospital. The crowd surrounds Prue's car and she
uses her power to move everyone out of her way. They get to the
hospital and Piper dies. Leo orbs in and Prue tells him that he
has to fix this. Leo tells Phoebe, Piper is dead. Phoebe accepts
the deal on one condition, Cole must warn Piper and Prue about
Shafts or they're already dead. After the deal is set, The
Source tells his minion to kill Phoebe and prevent Cole from
leaving. Time is reversed, Prue, Piper and Dr. Griffis are at
the manor for the first time. Shax comes into the house and
attacks the girls, Phoebe is not there to send Shax away, or to
call Leo to heal her sisters. The demon kills Dr. Griffis and
leaves Prue and Piper to die.
