     It was a NICE episode.

Even though Leo is not physically around, he is so ever apparent in this show.  I knew that the writers could not allow such a beloved character to die in the bi-lines.  It was nice to see in the Charmed fashion to have a birthday party for Wyatt.  One party that we actually get to see in action (and what action it was). In previous seasons something is always too chaotic to allow us to view this part of the family bonding.  We always see the beginning or the end of Wyatt's parties. This episode was enjoyable to watch, but torn at my heart strings to see Wyatt finally mourning the lost of his father.

I adored the beginning of this episode of watching Wyatt being a toddler with him orbing the bowl on his head. The next scene was by far one of the best, when the elder, Urban came to give Piper some reassuring words of wisdom that Wyatt is a good boy and is just acting out for the loss of his father. I received a great chuckle when Wyatt orbed the cake right into the elders face and that ever-wonderful line from Piper when she asked the elder "If he still thinks Wyatt is a good boy"?  (Now that is good writing)

The sub-story of this episode was all right.  To have Billie still trying desperately to find out any information of her sister's disappearance and the whole bank robbing scene was tiring. I liked seeing Paige trying to assist Henry in helping to make a better life for one of his parolee's. In all actuality, I was becoming bored with the sub story.  I really only like this episode for Wyatt's party.

I am in hopes that the whole plot of Billie finding her sister theme is leading to something, because if I am I would like to think other fans are beginning to lose interest. All we ever see anymore with this plot is Billie torturing demons to get information or she is putting her neck on the line each and every week for this purpose. The only part that kept my interest with the bank-robbing scene was when Henry was shot and the love and concern that Paige showed was very nice to see. Since the audience no longer has the special bond that we normally see with Leo and Piper, so it was a nice touch to at least have that with another sister and her love.

The part that I really enjoyed was watching Wyatt turn his toys into real life action figures. It was great fun in watching the Sheriff, Indian Chief and Soldier play with the children and having everyone look for Leo.

It broke my heart to see the pain that was emerging in little Wyatt. This bi-line was so good that you could actually feel the scene working with all of the frustration and emotional baggage that even a child can carry around. Holly Marie Combs does this show justice with her incredible acting abilities. To watch Piper shower her son with such love and care to convince him that Leo leaving wasn't his fault. (Holly should definitely get an Emmy for this performance).

These scenes I felt were the only ones that truly needed mentioning.  If the writers don't show more initiative and give more interesting and different story lines we may not get to see a series finale. The network will no doubt just cancel. That would be a sad transition in itself if the Fans can not have closure with this Icon of a Series.

This episode was NICE. That is it. I wish I could make this review a much more pleasant one, but I cannot with the material the writers are producing and the network is approving.

Let us hope that next week will be more of a CHARMED episode. One can only hope.

Until then think only Charmed thoughts.
